Confidential, free, 24/7. Whether it's stress, family challenges, or psychological distress – the EAP is there for you.
Some challenges cannot be overcome alone – be it in professional or private life. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers you an independent point of contact outside the company in such moments. Experienced consultants support you discreetly, confidentially, and free of charge.
Using the EAP is simple, unbureaucratic, and discreet for you:
Options for contacting the counseling center are made available via phone, live chat, or email. This applies to managers, employees, and additional eligible individuals living in the same household.
The Initial Contact with the EAP Counselor is Anonymous. The Counselor Contacts the Person Seeking Advice to Arrange an Initial Consultation.
Depending on the Situation, the Person Seeking Advice Receives Additional Material from the Counselor.
Most EAP Counselors Offer Personal or Telephone Consultations. Online Counseling with Appropriate Tools is also Sometimes Possible.
If Necessary, the Counselors Refer to Suitable Specialized Services or Therapeutic Offers. All Steps Remain Voluntary and are Individually Tailored to your Situation.
To Enable Solution-Oriented and Comprehensive EAP Counseling, Funding is Provided by the Employer.
A conversation can make a big difference. Those who receive support early on strengthen their well-being – and cope with burdens more calmly.
Within the framework of EAP counseling, a variety of professional, family, and personal topics can be addressed.
Clients analyze stressful situations, reflect on the causes of tensions, sharpen the distinction between self-perception and external perception, work on solution and communication skills, and on dealing with emotions.
If tensions develop into stressful conflicts, xstanding supports with professional conflict mediation.
Clients are supported in identifying conflicts, clearly naming issues, and finding out what is needed to constructively resolve their concerns. They strengthen their solution and communication skills and reflect on the implementation of their solution approach.
Clients work out the key points of the problem, recognize where their sphere of influence lies in problem-solving, and come up with solution proposals that can be communicated to their team and/or management.
Clients take stock, identify and name problem areas and room for maneuver, define their priorities, recognize their own areas of influence, and sharpen relevant skills (time and self-management).
The counseling provides space for relief, supports in classifying what has been experienced, and prepares for further steps.
Clients prepare, for example, for an employee appraisal and reflect on topics such as appreciation, skills, responsibility, or the desire for change. They also clarify expectations for change, analyze the necessary competencies and resources, and develop next steps on the path. Career counseling
Clients reflect on their changed role and work environment after a longer absence, become aware of their current priorities and resources, and find fresh goals and perspectives.
The support of foreign employees in Switzerland requires consideration
of various factors, especially with regard to residence and
work permits, recognition of diplomas, and compliance with Swiss
working conditions. The exact requirements depend on the nationality
of the employee and the purpose of their stay.
The manager reflects on their role, the associated responsibility, discusses uncertainties, sharpens important competencies, and defines goals. You can also book individually tailored seminars and workshops in the area of leadership development with us.
Our counseling offers confidential support for employees with ADHD or ASD, as well as practical help for managers in dealing with neurodiverse team dynamics. The goal is to overcome challenges in the workplace, specifically foster strengths, and refer to specialized services if needed.
Clients analyze dissatisfaction and development potential in their own lives, reflect on inner attitudes and patterns, make decisions, and devise strategies for change, which are then accompanied.
Clients work on self-deprecating beliefs, behavioral and relationship patterns, and experience an improvement in self-worth through concrete exercises and new behaviors.
Clients illuminate options and scenarios from different perspectives, clarify their goals, reflect on expectations, and come to a decision. If necessary, decision-making inhibitors such as perfectionism or fear of mistakes are also addressed.
Clients develop strategies for dealing with anxieties, reflect on anxiety-triggering moments and topics, and ways to reduce or avoid them. Practical exercises help to better regulate anxiety in everyday life.
Clients focus on their health. Resources, burdens, and inner attitudes are reflected preventively, and concrete steps are developed. In case of diagnoses, the counseling supports in coping, provides emotional relief, and strengthens daily management.
Clients reflect on their personal conflict experience and behavior, analyze conflict situations and stressful conflict dynamics, develop strategies, and strengthen competencies for constructive handling and resolution of conflicts.
Clients experience relief and space for grief processing, create new orientation and reconnection to everyday life. In the event of a death in the company, xstanding supports you with on-site or online crisis intervention.
Clients are advised on a psychosocial level to deal with feelings of guilt, fears, hopelessness, etc. On the other hand, they are supported with practical, professionally sound tips and strategies that can help to manage the difficult situation.
In times of uncertainty, overwhelm, or crisis, we offer a safe space to jointly find new stability and inner balance. With empathetic guidance, we gradually strengthen your resources – for more clarity, self-confidence, and a fulfilling life.
Clients deal with their relationship experiences, patterns and expectations. They reflect on personal attitudes, deal with disappointments and fears and strengthen their relationship skills.
Marriage and couple relationships are specifically supported in challenging phases of life. Existing burdens – such as those caused by care work or communication difficulties – are analyzed together, solutions are developed and decision-making processes are supported (e.g. separation yes/no).
In family counseling, conflicts and issues in the family system are moderated and made visible. Whether with or without children: together with the counselor, those involved develop viable solutions that are continuously monitored and adjusted as necessary.
The family services support employees in reconciling work and family life by organizing childcare, helping with the care of relatives and arranging external support services and networks.
As part of separation support, separation processes are dealt with respectfully, new structures are established and orientation and prospects for the time afterwards are created.
Clients receive support with age-specific topics such as self-worth, job orientation, relationships, etc.
Some topics require more space and depth – this is exactly where our coaching comes in. Discover your strengths, find clarity, and unleash your potential – professionally guided and individually tailored to you.
